The news that Warren Bradley, former Lib Dem Leader of Liverpool City Council, should - at election time - have been the author of a leaked memo which suggests that the Conservatives are not universally loved in his city is surely not that much of a surprise?

Pretentious, Bradley! If Liverpool is delivered to Labour on a plate and goes back to the dark ages - it won't be Clegg's doing!
I have a bit of a soft spot for Liverpool, it being the last stronghold of the Liberal Party with 3 whole councillors, and this year's Lord Mayor! ;)
